I am happy to say that it is starting to gather some attention. Yahoo recently released a statement to the press and many sites are starting to pick up on the good news.

This is a really fun time while people start to peek at the internals of a very cool piece of software. Leif and Mark have more details on their blogs of the history and application for this (now) open-source software.

I am happy to say that I am one of the initial commiters for the project and hope to make a positive impact from day 1. There are no firm dates for the traffic server svn import, but I believe that within 1-2 months, we should have a buildable piece of “beta” software available in ASF’s repository. Once it’s officially open, I will hopefully try and blog useful information here and monitor the TrafficServer dev/user lists. Feel free to signup as the mailing lists are all ready to go
